Analyst - II, Portfolio Accounting - Nuveen Global Investment Operations
The role of the Analyst Portfolio Reconciliations focuses primarily on the timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts across multiple business lines, external parties and custodians, and, maintenance of the overall timeliness, quality and accuracy of assigned processes
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Forecast and manage cash positions across accounts and currencies
Reconcile actual vs. projected cash movements with banks and custodians
Monitor overdrafts, resolve discrepancies, and escalate breaks timely
Report daily liquidity positions to portfolio managers
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
Support Middle Office Transformation (MOT) initiatives and onboarding activities

Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
3–5 years in Cash Operations/Management within Investment Banking or Asset Management
Hands-on experience with Electra (mandatory)
Knowledge of cash flow processing — redemptions & subscriptions
Familiarity with Eagle PACE, Charles River, BBG AIM, Bloomberg, DTC, and SQL
Working knowledge of fixed income, equity products, and dividend/taxation guidelines
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with additional middle office or portfolio accounting systems
Hands-on experience in transitions & transformation projects
Ability to create and present operational reports to management
Self-managed, results-oriented with high service orientation
Shift Timings : 6:30pm to 3:30am
