Senior Specialist - Product Owner - IN
The role act as liaisons between different stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and business to execute product strategy. They maintain and manage the product backlog, or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Incumbents in this role may also be responsible for modernization and integration efforts.
  • Product Owners work very closely with Product Managers to create user stories.
  • They author documents relating to product life cycle including product roadmap, business requirements and functional specifications.
  • They participate in sprint planning, perform market research and competitive analysis leading to the iterative development of the product.

Role Summary

Seeking a Lead Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise MDM initiatives across GoldenSource and Nuveen data 360 program. The role will partner closely with Product, Business, Operations, and Technology teams to drive requirements management, process alignment, delivery coordination, and functional analysis across strategic data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for MDM initiatives.
  • Drive stakeholder discussions, requirement walkthroughs, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Create BRDs, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and impact assessments.
  • Partner with Product Managers & Technology Leads to refine backlog priorities and acceptance criteria.
  • Support SIT/UAT planning, defect triage, and business validation activities.
  • Hands-on experience in working on large scale implementation and data transformation projects in financial services
  • Coordinate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure delivery readiness.
  • Track dependencies, risks, action items, and timeline alignment across workstreams.
  • Support governance, audit, and process standardization initiatives where required.

Preferred Experience

  • 8+ years in Business Analysis, Data Management and/or Product Management roles.
  • Strong SQL, PLSQL, OOPs concepts and hands-on exposure
  • Experience supporting MDM, reference data, capital markets or enterprise data platforms like GoldenSource, NeoXam, Markit, SimCorp, EDM preferred.
  • Exposure to Asset Management / Investment Management for buy and sell side products domain preferred.
  • Ability to work on large data transformation processes for profiling patterns, anomalies and exceptions for strategic initiatives
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, complex delivery environments.
