Overview of the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Investment professional with a passion for the logistic sector. The successful individual will be able to meaningfully contribute, drive, participate in the growth of Nuveen in the French market. He/she will be surrounded by a talented team and will be expected to bring expertise, credibility, energy and commercial thinking.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sourcing and execution of investment opportunities across France/Southern Europe. In collaboration with all stakeholders, generate deal flow, deploy capital and create long term value for firm/clients.
- Oversight of development, leasing and asset/property management as portfolio evolves.
- Develop and maintain strong relevant market contacts with occupiers, owners, operators of real estate, banks, advisors, local authorities and tenants.
- Become an integral part of the firm, representing business both internally and externally.
- Become a key ambassador for Nuveen across the French/European market.
- Collaborate and leverage off the group’s existing team to build and develop a high performing business over time
Qualifications & Experience Required
- A minimum of 7 years investment, development and asset management experience on the French (European) real estate / logistics market.
- Demonstrable experience in investing in the logistics sector
- Excellent demonstrable and qualitative investment and development track record.
- Strong product and market knowledge
- Excellent financial, legal, technical/property grounding and the ability to identify potential risk.
- Established network within the French (European) real estate/logistics community. This includes relationships with owners, developers, brokers and ideally with tenants.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English.
