Overview of the Business

Nuveen infrastructure (formerly Glennmont Partners) falls the under Nuveen Global Infrastructure Platform including sustainable real estate financing, clean energy development, infrastructure credit, and digital infrastructure equity investments.  Nuveen Infrastructure is a clean energy investment specialist with onshore and offshore wind, solar and storage investments in Europe, USA and APAC.  It has raised monies for 4 global clean energy funds.

Overview of the Role: 

The Summer Intern 2026 will be providing support to the APAC Investment Team on a variety of tasks relating to the renewable energy and storage sector.

Key  Tasks will include: 

  • Support with conducting research into key topics from time to time

  • Providing support on acquisition including summarise documents, manage Q&A and coordinate meetings

  • Update project and corporate presentations on powerpoint for current and potential investors

  • Reviewing various documentation from to time for accuracy and updating documents as instructed

  • Support with data entry as required

  • Attending meetings to capture notes

  • Reviewing excel calculations from to time

  • Other reasonable task as instructed by the APAC Investment team

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Academic Excellence: Pursuing at least a 2:1 or higher undergraduate degree (or equivalent), ideally in finance, business mathematics, business administration, or related field.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to understand investment decisions and an entrepreneurial approach.

  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). E.g. Creating financial models, using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data visualization, building scripts for data analysis, and automating tasks. 

Due to high volume of applications: 

  • We will only consider students in their penultimate year graduating in 2027. 

  • We will only consider applicants who have the right to live and work in the country for where the internship is located. 

  • You must be able to work the internship in Sydney office from end of June.
