Wealth Management Strategy Associate
The Wealth Management Strategy team (WM Strategy) partners with senior Wealth leadership as a trusted advisor to solve their most critical strategic and operating model issues. The team follows a hypothesis driven, fact-based approach to problem solving. The opportunity to solve critical business problems, coupled with the team's diversity of perspectives and background distinguishes the WM Strategy team from other areas of the firm. The Wealth Management Strategy Associate helps to drive key projects forward, executing detailed analyses and developing comprehensive presentations related to strategic planning, business improvement, and other internal consulting initiatives. Associates work closely with Senior Directors and MDs on the team in conducting research, and can expect to work extensively with other colleagues across Wealth including distribution, product, finance, risk, operations and technology. The Associate is expected to craft and help present recommendations to senior leadership and have opportunities for senior management interaction.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own significant pieces of an entire project workstream, helping to build and execute qualitative and quantitative analyses required with little oversight
  • Partner with project team members to quickly synthesize and interpret data to address key strategic, process or organizational changes
  • Work with others to identify major issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions and quantify potential bottom-line financial impact across portions of a workstream
  • Monitors medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership.
  • Synthesize impactful findings, develop recommendations, and help present recommendations to senior management
  • Participate in client interviews / working sessions to gather baseline information; independently requests needed information and follows up with clients
  • Builds trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Lead part of a workstream or an entire workstream , potentially working with other analysts on that workstream; escalates issues and risks

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
