IT Business Analyst Manager

As a part of the Sales & Marketing Technology Team in Nuveen, this role reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing Technology, IT Business Analyst Manager - Asset Management (Sales & Marketing). The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage the analysis of business and information needs to design optimal systems solutions. This job provides information technology support to business systems, analyzes processes, and assists in problem resolution and report development. The IT Business Systems Analyst engages in complex information technology challenges and recommends configurations to accomplish organizational goals. This will be instrumental in building, applying, and expanding our capabilities in supporting our US Wealth, Institutional, and Marketing business stakeholders.
 


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provides consultative services to the information technology department and achieves business objectives through department feedback and team collaboration.

  • Acts as the information technology liaison between business units and technical teams and ensures delivery of timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs.

  • Leverages a deep understanding of system behavior and determines best analytical approaches for a variety of complex information technology topics.

  • Conducts information technology reviews and assists in the purchasing of new software for business operations.

  • Performs complex information technology system analysis and develops business and functional specifications based on department requirements.

  • Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
