We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Marketing Technology team within Nuveen Technology Operations (NTO). This role is ideal for someone with a strong technology background, proven experience in asset management, and a deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies. 

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience managing complex technology initiatives beyond traditional project management, with the ability to engage in detailed execution when required. This role will need a high level of commitment, flexibility across time zones, and adaptability to global teams are essential.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and deliver complex technology initiatives within Product Marketing, ensuring seamless execution across product, platform, and engineering teams.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk frameworks, ensuring strategic alignment with business and technology objectives.

  • Provide hands-on technical oversight, engaging deeply in discussions on architecture, data, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering best practices.

  • Champion Agile methodologies across multiple global teams, ensuring efficient execution through Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe frameworks.

  • Work with engineering, product, and platform teams to establish a structured governance model for project execution. Ensure all applications have adequate Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and actively support Nuveen’s enterprise-wide DR exercises.

  • Manage vendor integration where applicable, tracking deliverables and ensuring seamless execution.

  • Effectively navigate a global organization, working across multiple markets, time zones, and cultures.

  • Vendor relationship management and project oversight

  • Communication of project and program status to stakeholders and management teams

  • Collaborate with relevant internal and external enterprise teams and stakeholders

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
