Overview of the Role
The Talent Specialist plays a key role in supporting both Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development (L&D) functions globally. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, data-driven, and passionate about enhancing talent processes. It sits at the center of recruitment operations and learning programs, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates, employees, and stakeholders.
This position manages various aspects of the hiring process, including candidate assessment, interview coordination across multiple time zones, and employment contract management for operations in over 26 countries. Additionally, it supports training coordination, compliance tracking, and reporting to foster employee development. The role provides broad exposure to talent management within a dynamic, global organization by engaging in both recruitment and learning initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Talent Acquisition Support
Candidate Assessment: Review and evaluate candidate applications, conducting research, mapping, shortlisting, and initial screenings.
Interview Coordination: Schedule complex interviews across multiple time zones, ensuring a smooth process for candidates and interviewers.
Employment Contracts: Prepare and manage employment contracts, ensuring compliance with local regulations in over 26 countries.
Pre-Employment Screening: Oversee background checks and right-to-work verifications, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
Data Analysis: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends and optimize hiring strategies.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment vendors and oversee the onboarding of new suppliers.
Reporting: Maintain recruitment trackers and generate reports on hiring activity, time-to-fill metrics, and candidate experience.
Early Talent Programs: Support early talent recruitment initiatives, including summer internship and graduate programs.
Learning & Development Support
Training Coordination: Schedule training sessions, managing logistics across various time zones.
Data Analysis: Analyze training data to identify engagement trends, skill gaps, and opportunities for program enhancements.
Career Development Initiatives: Assist in planning and executing career development programs, including mentorship opportunities.
Communication: Coordinate communications related to L&D programs, ensuring employees are informed about available learning opportunities.
Technical Skills & Qualifications Required
Experience in supporting a busy recruitment team; gained ideally in Financial or Professional services sector
Word & PowerPoint & Advanced Excel Skills essential
Experience of working with workday is essential
Enjoys having autonomy and taking responsibility for deliverables
Experience of producing market intelligence reporting on regular basis.
Experience of working with an international team
