Marketing Automation

The Marketing Automation team is responsible for driving the overall development, design, build, execution, and measurement of campaigns and experiences in marketing automation platforms and tools. The Center of Excellence for Marketing Automation delivers on our objectives by bringing to life client journeys across channels, building experiences that drive engagement, and streamlines automation processes across B2B, B2C, and Nuveen audiences. Marketing Automation professionals are responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Sr Manager, Marketing Automation Associate will be responsible for enabling campaigns and customer experiences that support strategic marketing objectives through orchestrating customer journeys across distribution channels. This role will leverage the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem to deliver highly personalized, automated customer journeys across multiple audience segments. This individual works effectively with technology and business partners to define and implement marketing campaign requirements.

  • Lead the development of campaigns in core marketing automation platform(s) to automate and optimize customer journeys across channels.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and analytics teams to ensure successful integration of marketing automation as part of the overall client experience
  • Marketing Automation solution development including building journeys, writing queries, building data extensions, writing AMPscript and knowledge of SSJS 
  • Design marketing automation programs including Triggered Sends, Automation Studio Activities, Platform configuration, multi-channel integrations, audience segmentation and other components to enable automation of marketing campaigns 
  • Monitor journey and campaign execution metrics, tracking and analyzing performance to generate insights to share back with cross functional teams focused on client engagement
  • Partner with Analytics team to establish and monitor KPIs and to provide performance analysis, including recommendations to improve outcomes
  • Partner with Technology teams to define and implement new platform features and integrations to successfully deliver and improve marketing automation and reporting capabilities.
  • Oversee user testing and QA processes to ensure quality and integrity of automated programs 
  • Research, test and apply best practices to improve marketing automation performance.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
