The RFP Response Manager, India supervises professionals that deliver Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for the organization. This job manages the creation of additional supporting documentation to support the organization's RFP processes; including drafting Requests for Information (RFIs), pricing proposals, and ad hoc documents for external and internal clients. As a team manager, this job sets goals and objectives for team members and ensures policies and procedures are followed by direct reports. This job liaises with product management and sales teams, and subject matter experts across the business to ensure product information and proposals are customized appropriately.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervises Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from initial receipt through RFP delivery.
- Creates and manages a full project schedule from RFP release to proposal submission to ensure the due dates are met.
- Manages the writing, organizing, and packaging of responses to Requests for Proposal to ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Attend RFP meetings with subject matter experts internally to ensure the sales positioning meets the objective of the sales strategy aligned to each proposal.
- Reviews the final draft of the RFP to ensure accuracy of content, grammar, style and formatting.
- Expands relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.
- Ensures database content is updated with responses from recent proposals to improve future RFP submissions.
- Manages performance of team members through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of team.
