Overview of the Role:
The role is responsible for coordinating the provision and reporting of performance analysis that that enables the out-turns of investment and fund activity across our range of funds and accounts to be monitored and assessed, and contribute to the wider management of the investment process.
The role will encompass effective performance analysis at the asset, portfolio and fund level and support the development of wider analytics across the investment platform
Key responsibilities:
- Provide timely and regular performance analysis and reporting against targets and market comparatives
- Prepare reporting for the regional leadership teams regarding investment performance, industry trends and peer insight
- Liaison with the Global Client Group and Business Development Teams to support new business initiatives and track record creation
- Maintain and operate a standardised platform through which a consistent and best practice approach to performance analysis can be efficiently applied, and support the development of identified system applications
- Collaborate with investment teams, finance, asset managers, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify analytical needs, and deliver actionable insights.
- Support the continued management of third-party relationships with data vendors and performance measurement providers
- Promote awareness across the business of performance in the unlisted property market and the developments of new initiatives that impact on us or to which our clients have regard
- Support the creation and maintenance of analytics dashboards at scale
- Confidentiality regarding all information it receives from the employer or its clients, in connection with this contract and after its termination.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers.
- Everyday reporting and communication with supervisor and the team.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Strong analytical and excel skills
- Proven record of working with financial and performance systems
- Strong applied understanding and previous experience of property appraisal and performance attribution techniques
- An understanding of accounting principles and fund structures
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI and Tableau preferred
