Individual Retirement Solutions Product Management
The Individual Retirement Solutions Product Management role is responsible for overseeing aspects of the product strategy and coordinating across the product team and enterprise to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle. This job reviews and assesses market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the products. While working closely with client relationship management, technology, marketing and other business lines, this job uses strategic insight and program management to ensure accurate and cohesive operations, promotion, and distribution of the product.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develops and maintains cross-functional strategic partnerships across the enterprise to deliver product strategy and strengthen product lifecycle operations and client satisfaction.
  • Manages the product lifecycle and makes forecasts on consumer behavior, market performance, and product developments.
  • Monitors various metrics and market dynamics and measures product performance against business expectations.
  • Gathers extensive knowledge and makes forecasts on customer preferences and market developments and influences leaders on product features and potential enhancements.
  • Considers the product vision and mission and provides input on the competitive positioning strategy and develops guidelines for the product lifecycle roadmap.
  • Coordinates strategic processes for the product and ensures partnership alignment on decisions related to the product lifecycle.
  • Partners with legal, risk and compliance teams to fully identify, understand, establish controls, test and mitigate potential risks to ensure products adhere to compliance, privacy regulations and policies.
  • Promotes and delivers presentations on the product strategy, vision and mission across the organization.
  • Acts as product subject matter expert on features and services and collaborates with business partners to provide recommendations and coordinate implementation.
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
FINRA Registrations
  • SRC Indicator: Series 7
