New Business RFP Writer

This position is responsible for coordinating and writing asset management proposals — responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) — under strict deadlines, and for creating additional documents, including RFI’s, pricing proposals, and ad hoc documents for external and internal clients. The RFP Coordinator must manage projects independently and with adherence to detailed client specifications. Extensive knowledge of the investments and the RFP process is preferred, as well as the ability to communicate formally in clear, concise writing. In addition to working with senior managers at all levels of the company, the RFP Writer interacts with product management, sales and with subject matter experts to update product information and positioning and to customize proposals.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage, coordinate and lead RFP project from initial receipt through RFP delivery.

  • Write, edit, organize, and package responses to Request for Proposals in compliance with client requirements.

  • Ability to lead RFP meetings with subject matter experts throughout the organization and responsible for ensuring the sales positioning is concurrent with sales strategy for each proposal.

  • Proofread proposal for content, grammar, style and formatting.

  • Develop and facilitate relationships with key business partners/stakeholders.

  • Assist the Knowledge Manager in managing and updating database content with responses from recent proposals.

  • Contribute to creating and distributing information on improving processes in proposal cycle to team and business partners.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred

FINRA Registrations

  • SRC Indicator: NRF
