Nuveen GFI is seeking a client portfolio manager to support the ongoing growth of our platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of leveraged finance credit markets and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The candidate should also have experience developing and enhancing marketing content that includes, but is not limited to, presentations, whitepapers, RFP/DDQ responses.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Primarily assist in the growth and retention of the firm’s leveraged finance assets and, secondarily, the assets of the firm’s other taxable fixed income investment strategies
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to appropriately position the firm’s leveraged finance offerings and hone the firm’s messaging on our credit capabilities
- Proactively partner with U.S. distribution teams to identify prospective clients and opportunities
- Support distribution and relationship management teams with responses to specific questions about strategies and general questions about the credit markets
- Serve as the subject matter expert for investment-related questions and coverage for prospective investors, clients, and internal distribution partners.
- Stay current on industry developments and Nuveen products
- Partner with product management and the investment team on product development ideas and initiatives
- Leverage internal resources to drive and grow business activity
Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
- 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
FINRA Registrations
- SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63
