Business Analyst
The primary purpose of the Business Analyst is to provide operational support to the Business Manager supporting the broader Nuveen Natural Capital Australia business on all matters related to team administration, office management, and NNC Accounting.

The role will support changing needs of the business and aim to improve business processes and discipline to support outcomes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • NNC Treasury / Accounting
    • Invoicing and operational support for payments as required
    • Supporting in the Concur expense management system
    • Support preparation of regular budget to actual reporting for NNC
  • Insurance
    • Under the guidance of the Business Manager, perform day to day management of claims.
    • Update of insurance asset list, co-ordination of crop insurance and reporting.
  • Team Administration Support & Office Management
    • In coordination with the business manager provide administrative assistance to the team including all office and remote staff
    • Includes tasks such as:
    o Coordinating office equipment and supplies
    o Liaising with vendors
    o Planning team events and visitor agendas
    o Booking travel or hotels
    o Coordinating team holidays and plans for visibility
    o Supporting cultural events"
  • Operational Process Improvements
    • Analyse processes, suggest efficiencies, assist in the implementation of new process improvements
    • Support on water administration and compliance
    • Coordination for improvements in property compliance
  • Assist with any local audits
  • Ad hoc projects where required and support in areas of need

Educational Requirements

  • Vocational and/or Technical Education Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3+ Years Required
