Job Description
This role will focus on product development across the Churchill Asset Management platform. The role will support the development and creation of structured products, separate accounts, commingled funds and registered funds dependent on market and investor demand with a focus on structured investment solutions targeting insurance investors who have risk-based capital sensitivities. The candidate will achieve results through idea generation and collaboration with distribution, senior investment management, asset class product leads, legal & compliance, marketing, operations, and finance personnel.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strong knowledge of private market asset classes.
  • Familiarity with legal documentation of private funds, securitizations or other fund finance products.
  • Experience and proficiency building financial models including asset-level cash flows and distribution waterfalls and analyzing the impact of stress scenarios.
  • Proficiency and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as excellent analytical, research and reporting abilities.
  • Team player with a strong sense of personal accountability and urgency.
  • Desire to join a growing asset management platform with highest ethical and performance standards.

Additional Requirements

  • Supporting the development, modeling and structuring of investment products including, but not limited to, rated note feeders, collateralized fund obligations and other securitized structures.
  • Responding to existing and prospective investor questions, diligence requests (RFIs, RFPs, DDQs) and follow-up items from both external and internal meetings.
  • Assisting in the preparation and distribution of quarterly reporting for Churchill issued structured solutions.
  • Collaborating closely on Product Development idea generation and follow-up.
  • Gathering and summarizing market intelligence, research and data.
  • Performing Ad Hoc and special projects as needed.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance/accounting.

Work Experience

  • 3+ years of related work experience in accounting or financial modeling or planning.
