Keeping our associates and our candidates safe is our top priority. All TIAA GBS, India associates are working remotely, and we have virtual recruiting, hiring and onboarding for new hires. We’re closely monitoring the health situation to determine when it will be safe for associates to return to our offices.
We offer medical guidance, testing and care to help our teams and their families through these trying times:
• A dedicated COVID-19 helpline for associates to obtain medical guidance and follow up from contracted physicians for themselves and family members • Remote scheduling of RT PCRT tests and free at-home testing for associates and their families, with no cap on the number of tests • Choice of hospitalization in government or private facilities, with varying associated costs • Additional paid leave offered throughout the illness when the associate is unable to work • Potential for salary advances to assist with illness-related financial difficulty
TIAA has also expanded the Disaster Relief Matching Gift Program to include nonprofit organizations who deliver much-needed medical supplies and personal protective equipment directly to India.
