POSITION
 

The Client Service team is responsible for management and execution of the life-cycle processing of clients’ charitable gifts from initiation through termination.

 

As a Trust Administrator you will be responsible for facilitating the execution of the trust administration life cycle process managed by the client account team and serving as liaison with Custody Operations, Pooled Fund Administration, Trading, and Reporting.  You will have the opportunity to serve up to twenty-five to thirty client relationships and collaborates with two or more Client Account Managers.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Responsible for gathering and reviewing initial data, documents, and other information provided by the client.  Track missing information and resolving data discrepancies

  • Perform reviews of new accounts, terminations, shifts of interest, gift additions, participant additions, investment directives, beneficiary and vendor payments, valuations, client and account profiles, tax conditions, and other information necessary to support client deliverables

  • Responsible for ensuring accurately maintained beneficiary, client and donor information

  • Responsible for generating periodic profile, transaction and accounting reports

  • Communicate, identify and mitigate client issues in a proactive and positive manner in order to meet client needs that result in high client satisfaction
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and accurate manner; ensures timely and accurate delivery of standard deliverables as well as ad-hoc requests
  • Develop collaborative, in-depth partnership with assigned clients and internal business partners
  • Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

Required Experience

    

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or four or more years of business office experience

  • 1 to 4 years’ of experience in a financial services environment with experience in direct client communication

  • Solid understanding of financial markets (i.e., common stocks, mutual funds, asset ownership, trading, gifts, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of securities products and their transfer methods between brokerages

  • Experience using trust systems technologies; Prior experience levering PG Calc and Advent products preferred

 

 

Desired Experience

 

 

  • Experience in general Trust

  • Working knowledge of charitable and taxable trusts

  • Knowledge of federal and state tax codes regarding trusts

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
