POSITION SUMMARY:

 

              
Responsible for helping to ensure our Institutional field tools and B2B Campaigns are as impactful as possible in helping to drive Institutional client retention and growth.

The role includes helping to develop, maintain and package content that Institutional Client Relationship Managers use to help retain and expand relationships with institutional retirement plan sponsors and for helping to manage the annual B2B campaign targeting all B2B audiences (HR/Finance/Consultants). This individual will make recommendations to streamline content and process, help with project management and go to market activities on various internal and external initiatives, and help drive integration and adoption of best practice positioning and content. The role provides a great opportunity to help package our end-to-end business-to-business-to consumer (B2B2C) offer and build subject matter expertise to support future growth.


 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  

  • Manage key tools used by Client Relationship teams with Institutional clients to help drive strategic discussions and growth. Includes partnering with the line of business, various product and service owners, creative services/agencies and compliance.
    • Manage the institutional client business planning templates and tools. This includes:
      • Managing the annual enhancement process and completing quarterly updates
      • Working with product and service partners and agencies to update slides
      • Working with compliance to get final templates approved
      • Working with vendor to update templates in publishing system
    • Manage other collateral and client-ready templates that support all retirement plan market segments
      • Maintain inventory report, process documentation and contacts related to updating content
      • Make recommendations to streamline content and increase process efficiency
      • Ensure messaging and voice appropriate for institutional clients, consistent look and feel
      • Develop additional templates/materials as needed/justified.
      • Collateral/content is related to our Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Business to Customer (B2B2C) stories, the outcomes we support clients in achieving, the products and services we offer, and strategies for client engagement.
         
  • Coordinate various aspects of the B2B campaign across audiences to help drive impact, integration, timeliness and efficiency.
    • Assist campaign lead(s) with campaign plan development
      • Coordinate strategy planning sessions, notes and follow-ups
      • Help develop and maintain campaign slide library to socialize campaign with senior management and field
    • Partner with B2B strategists to create and manage campaign project plans and ensure timely execution
      • Develop and manage project plans, issues logs and execution meetings
      • Maintain central location for all campaign resources
         
  • Partner across the organization on development of B2B & B2B2C storylines, integration of key themes, and various key initiatives as needed. Such as:
  • Development, rollout, integration and maintenance of key B2B and B2B2C storylines
  • Driving greater integration of our individual and our institutional offers and related content intended to help drive deeper adoption of our full offer in the market
  • Helping concept, make recommendations and executing on better packaging of material for the field
  • Create and document repeatable processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
 

 

Required Skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
    • 5+ years’ experience in a communications, marketing or institutional role with a minimum of 3 years in Marketing/Communications.
    • Understanding of institutional retirement plan business.
    • Understanding of financial services industry and the audiences that are served .
    • Previous experience managing projects
Preferred Skills
    • Strong communication skills and easily builds relationships with all partners.
    • Strong negotiation skills.
    • Strong presentation skills with the ability to simplify the complex.
    • Strong PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat professional skills are preferred.
    • Understanding of compliance process.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong attention to detail.
