POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Business Analyst role will work as liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.  This role will be supporting our Customer Solutions Technology team in an agile environment.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 

  • Become subject matter expert in Regulatory Mailings platform/services
  • Represent Regulatory Mailings team when new work requests come in
  • Lead high-level requirements gathering and strategize with senior technologists
  • Actively participate in software design/grooming sessions
  • Lead/partner quality assurance efforts - system, integration and user acceptance testing - to ensure that business requirements are achieved successfully
  • Provide guidance on requirements and user stories when required.
  • Can lead the team and help setup priority when Product Owner is absent.
  • Can lead scrum calls when the Scrum Master is absent.
  • Leads the collaboration sessions between business analyst, testing team and development team to create test scripts for automation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Required Skills:

  •        7 or more years of Business Analyst work experience
  •         Experience in Agile/Scrum.
  •         Experience in designing and documenting system and data flows.

  • Strong data analysis, and process analysis skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  

Desired Skills:

  • Elicit and document business, functional and system requirements
  • Experience defining structured data or mapping data between systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills -both written & verbal
  • Excellent partnership skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with various people in business, operations and IT development teams
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task effectively across several projects and assignments
  • Experience using requirements management tools such as JIRA, Agile Craft
  • Scrum management tools
  • Retirement industry experience
  • Experience as a developer would be helpful in this role
