POSITION SUMMARY:

TIAA’s Production Services & Architecture (PS&A) team is responsible for all architecture, engineering and infrastructure operations of our core technology assets as part of a streamlined, strategic approach that ensures low cost, high quality delivery from initial architectural decisions through engineering to long-term operational support.The PS&A team collaborates closely with our business-aligned partners in technology and with key stakeholders across the enterprise.
As an IT Product Manager your role will focus on the delivery of IT infrastructure products and services through an internally developed IT product marketplace management and delivery tool. Infrastructure Product and Service Management is a next generation strategic function for our organization. Your role will be critical in the processes of defining, developing, market testing, delivering and withdrawing products and their related services from the tool’s environment. To achieve maximum value across technology product lifecycles, you will work with our Architecture and Technology partners to establish standards, direction and tooling needed to provide a consistent offering that has clear roadmaps, selection criteria, and cost/benefits information that leverage optimal levels of automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Product owner of the Service Catalog Marketplace, which is the portal and marketplace through which the services in the Service Catalog are consumed
  • Define and direct the design, development and roadmap for the tool
  • Work with the (internal) Marketplace vendor to build platform to specification, and ensure the delivery against a defined roadmap and backlog
  • Work with product owners to direct their use of the Marketplace tool, as well as gather further requirements from them, and the end user customers to evolve the platform to meet the needs of the user community
  • Develop and manage the operating model and own the operational care and feeding of the platform

QUALIFICATIONS:


Required Experience
  • Five or more years of application development related experience
  • Experience in requirements gathering, data modelling and process architecture, UI design and/or web development experience preferred
  • Experience as an Agile product owner
  • Experience with Cloud based development, or any implementation of a DevOps model preferred
  • Experience in an Infrastructure Operations organization a plus
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
