POSITION SUMMARY:


The Sr. Associate for Supplier Risk supports the implementation of the supplier risk program across the enterprise.  This involves the maintenance and implementation of the standardized risk-based strategy, policy, process, and tools to identify, mitigate, monitor, and control supplier-related risk.  The role requires communication about the policy, the process, the standards, and specific supplier risks with various stakeholders (risk oversight committees, business area management, Supplier Relationship Managers, control partners, project partners, and Strategic Sourcing).  Implementation of the program includes defining the requirements and maintaining Enterprise Risk and Governance systems (eGRC) that support the Enterprise Risk Framework and the Supplier Risk Management process.
  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 

• Ensure compliance with the supplier risk standards across the enterprise
• Monitor the critical supplier portfolio for concentration, country, financial, resiliency, and reputational risks; escalate to business owners when outside of risk appetite
• Support the identification and escalation of risks identified by Sourcing staff, control partners, and Supplier Relationship Managers during supplier selection, due diligence, contracting, and manage phases
• Execute on quality testing to ensure standards are being followed and identify training gaps or coaching opportunities
• Facilitate the periodic reassessment of supplier contracts against the risk standards to ensure appropriate level of risk focus
• Define requirements and implement enhancements for the eGRC tool
• Develop and report on enterprise key risk and key performance indicators
• Recommend program and process improvements as needed to address changes in regulations, the Enterprise Risk Framework, or risk appetite
• Maintain expertise in supplier risk regulatory requirements, contracting procedures, the Enterprise Risk Framework, and other relevant policies of the organization

 

  

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in either risk management, supplier management or sourcing
Preferred:
  • Master/ Graduate degree or JD a plus
  • Project Management Certification and or Six Sigma are a plus
  • Reporting and analytics experience are a plus:  Archer, PeopleSoft, SQL, Excel Macros, Tableau
