POSITION SUMMARY:

 

This position supports the TFS line of business, and provides provides relationship management and client focus to the TFS CFO, business leaders and Management Team with decision support through the use of management reporting, future-focused analytics, predictive modeling capabilities, decision tools and problem-solving support to help drive our businesses financial planning, budgeting and forecasting requirements.  This position also supports the CFP&A team to achieve accurate alignment of expense, revenue, flows and AUM to the Product Lines and Legal Entities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 

This role manages the detailed preparation of all consolidated TFS Executive Management financial reporting, including the ownership of financial's for Executive level cadences such as the OPR, Board, MPCR, and FISC meetings.  The role supports financial reporting for monthly cadences, including the preparation of the financial scorecard and net position, as well as specific ownership for Direct Expense, Headcount and Productivity - including trend analysis to prepare strategic and tactical recommendations for achieving quarterly and annual performance.  The role leads the TFS financial planning process, including coordination of templates, consolidation/analysis, executive reporting, controls totals and the systematic load process. This position is the central point of contact between CFP&A and the TFS BFO team, and also a key partner with other members of the FP&A team in driving financial data governance and systematic improvements.

 


Required:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience with a proven track record providing finance and accounting leadership.
- Experience directly supporting Executives and their leadership teams and providing them with advice and insights to ensure success.
- Extensive experience in the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Hyperion/Essbase required 


Preferred:

- MBA preferred
- Additional experience with systems such as PeopleSoft, Tableau.
- 8+ years of financial planning and analysis experience with a proven track record providing finance and accounting leadership.
- Strong foundation in financial services industries, and working knowledge across the business lines
- Critical thinking and self-starter; ability to work well under pressure, meet agreed upon deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as, in a collaborative team environment.
- Superior skills to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally.
