We are looking for a UI Developer to be part of a UI development team, focused on building dynamic Case Management web application.  The successful candidate will have a broad range of knowledge and skills, including web, Java, database, and web services.  As part of this team, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing primarily the UI elements of the case management product, but will also direct the approaches that backend development may be taking in working with the UI.  Occasional server side development will be necessary to provide web services to the UI that aren’t part of the core backend team.

The successful candidate should be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, be adept at reverse-engineering JavaScript code, able to multitask, while providing creative solutions to business users.  Candidate should be comfortable wearing multiple hats at any time:  Web, Java, DB, services Designer and Developer.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production
  • Design and build business web applications
  • Support ongoing business requirements
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on our client experiences and recommend solutions that details the pros, cons and risks
  • Implement performance tuning, monitoring and testing
  • Perform integrations and process automations using REST API
  • Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data
  • Manage multiple projects at once
  • Collaborate on projects with minimal supervision
  • Perform root cause analyses and remediation for integration, system reporting and data issues

Requirements

 


Requirements

  • 8+ years developing HTML, CSS, FTL, AJAX and JavaScript
  • 8+ years developing object-oriented JavaScript code using a high level JavaScript toolkit, ie:  Angular (preferred)  JQuery, etc
  • 6+ years with Java and Java libraries:  Enterprise Integration Pattern - Spring, Apache Camel, JMS
  • 6+ years of SQL development (Oracle preferred)
  • Comfortable with JSON and XML structured documents
  • Webservices (JAX-RS + JSON, SOAP)
  • Excellent reverse-engineering skills

Preferences

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platform
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, Zipkin, ELK
  • Experience with Container and Container Management framework
  • Experience in implementing Cloud and container security paradigms
  • Experience with Agile development
  • Change management tools:  JIRA (preferred), Git, Subversion
  • Eclipse with STS Ide
  • SqlDeveloper
  • Chrome web debugging
  • Google’s Guava library
