Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years public relations or communications experience
  • 3+ years of direct and relevant experience in the financial services industry, having served in either public relations and/or communications roles 

Desired Qualifications:

  • BA/BS
  • Demonstrated understanding of the retirement business, market and competitive landscapes
  • First-hand experience partnering with and managing PR agency resources
  • Deep experience and proven track record with traditional press
  • Experience with and understanding of social media
  • Experience and comfort functioning as a corporate spokesperson on both proactive topics, as well as issues management
  • Experience working with and influencing senior leaders and business partners by providing guidance and direction on public relations
