Position Summary and Impact: 

 

The role of the Analyst Market Data Services focuses primarily on supporting the US team with the full lifecycle of invoice processing, which includes: entering information into our tracking system, coding/ validating of cost allocation and cost centers, and ensuring invoices are paid in a timely fashion.  To be successful, the right candidate must be a team player who is proactive with strong customer service orientation.

 

Functional Responsibilities: 

 

·        Daily oversight of invoice processing in our Inventory tracking system (FITS) and in the Corporate Accounts Payable System (INSPYRUS)

·        Create recurring summary reports detailing outstanding issues with unprocessed invoices to be reviewed and assessed with the US MDS team

·        Process requests to add, cancel or re-assign services due to moves, departures or change in business requirements

·        Research and identify opportunities for cost reductions and savings

·        Produce clear and measurable goals focused on continuous improvement.

 

Job Requirements And Qualifications:

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

Accounting, Business, finance or related discipline

Required Experience:

2+ years

·        Investment  Banking / Asset Management Industry experience in an offshored operations environment.

·        2 + years of experience in Market Data Services.

·        Experience with market Data Management applications (i.e. FITS, MDMS, etc.)

·        Familiarity with general accounting and financial concepts in order to provide accurate accounting of expenses

·        Proficient utilization of MS OFFICE products especially Excel.

Skills and Abilities:

Required

·        Ability to analyze process/data exceptions and proven attention to detail

·        Ability to work relatively  independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

·        Prioritization and problem solving skills

·        Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products (particularly Excel & Access)

·        Very good communication skills, written and verbal

Preferred

·        Self-managed and results-oriented

·        Strong interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; and must be able to contribute to discussions

·        Team player, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

·        Ability to understand, create, and present financial reports to Management

·        Ability to work across broad, diverse groups; demonstrates the ability to collaborate and develop/maintain relationships with both the Firm and Vendors.
