QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Proven track record of success acting as the lead/primary relationship manager for a book high net worth and affluent clients.  This experience entails demonstrated advisory, client management and proven sales experience providing complex financial planning services.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills providing coaching, guidance and expertise in strategic planning and sales to licensed, registered representatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Existing Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) and 24 and appropriate state life insurance licenses are highly preferred. Candidates without existing licensing may be eligible for sponsorship per licensing guidelines.
  • Prior sales management experience preferred. Must have demonstrated sales management expertise and coaching/motivating/developing staff.
  • Proven track record in generating sales and managing relationships with high net worth clients, including broad technical skills in retirement products, general investment matters and applicable tax and estate planning issues
  • Demonstrated experience understanding a client's unique financial situation, providing appropriate advice and solutions, and exhibiting financial leadership.
  • Strategic planning, people management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial planning concepts including a broad knowledge of all TIAA products and services.
  • Thorough knowledge of the retirement industry, ERISA regulations, financial products, and regulatory/compliance obligations.
  • Experience with client relationship management (CRM) systems. 
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred and weighted.
  • Industry designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Mutual Fund Consultant (CMFC) are strongly preferred
