QUALIFICATIONS:
 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; minimum of 8 years’ experience in an administrative support role.
  • Highly Advanced PC skills required (Must be fluent in MS Office, i.e., Word, Excel (well versed in Pivot Tables, V/H Lookup, etc.), Outlook, PowerPoint (to include visual/graphics), Visio (desired) and the Internet (with no training needed).
  • Demonstrated experience creating, composing and editing written materials.
  • Experience gathering data, information, and preparing reports independently and in a timely and/or urgent manner as needed.
  • Experience with planning, booking and coordinating business travel.
 

Desired Skills:

 
  • Familiarity with IT Procurement systems, travel partners (i.e., Carlson Wagonlit) and Expense Management (i.e., Concur), TIAA brand systems a plus.

  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and proactively.

  • Ability to interface with executive support teams of Executive Management Team.

  • Demonstrated intellect and ability to "connect the dots" between various work streams, evaluating their relative importance, inter-relatedness (if appropriate) and importance; prioritize effectively.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including a thorough understanding of grammar and syntax.

  • Work well under pressure and deadlines, and be flexible and adaptable to unexpected changes.

  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple (and at times conflicting) activities.

  • Proactively track and monitor outstanding deliverables/commitments and ability to bring-to-a-close large volumes of work.
